Company Christmas party

Here is Josh and I on our way to the Christmas Party. The dinner and dancing was on Friday the 14th. We had lots of fun and have every year that we have gone.

So for our Company Christmas party I made my dress so that I wouldn't have to buy one. Although in the end it cost about the same.

I also made my brothers 1 year old a dress for Christmas. She will be able to wear it this summer. It turned out quite cute!!

The Christmas Angel

I read the following and thought it would be a funny post. Hope you all have a great laugh at it as I did!!

You can find more christmas stuff here!

One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip ... but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule.

Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mother was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress.

Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys.

So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hidden the liquor and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the coffee pot and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw it was made from.

Just then the doorbell rang and Santa cursed on his way to the door. He opened the door and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

All radiant and smiling; the angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa. Isn't it just a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Isn't it just a lovely tree? Where would you like me to stick it?"

Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Christmas

Here is the picture we came up with for our Christmas cards this year. Gotta love having a self timer on your camera!!! I am totally stoked that we got both dogs looking into the camera when we wanted them to. It only took 3 tries to get the one we could both agree on... Not too bad if I do say so myself...

Here are some of the decorations for our home..

Some more of our decorations....

Here is our Christmas Tree with presents to family members. The tree and stuff on the trees was that last of the decorations put up.

Too much fun!!

So we went to an Antique store and had a little too much fun. There were lots of things that were picture worthy but this is the only one that got a picture taken of. Normally his dad is a baseball cap and no gun!! This just had to be taken.

We love the table they brought down for us. I don't know where my camera is so it will have to be posted later. IT is gorgeous!!!

We also made a lot of Christmas candy while we were there for the holiday. I will put some of those up here later as well...

Color Crayon

Ever wonder what kind of color crayon you are??? I saw this quiz and thought...why not... So here are my results:

You Are a Green Crayon
Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors. While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around.Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease. You're very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows!

Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.

Go head and take it to see what you are!

No bets!!!

Now, I knew there was a reason not to make bets here at work... Cause we have a pond...

This poor soul lost a bet and is in the process of a midair jump into the pond that we have in our little campus area. SOOOOO COLD....
This should be incentive enough for anyone and everyone not to make or take a bet that includes the words 'jumping in the pond'.

I honestly don't think that anyone could pay me enough money to jump in it!!!! Specially when it's only 25 degrees outside.

This morning

Last night I took this picture when I got home from work. I was thinking about take another one this morning because on my car from the time I got home last night to this morning it had snowed another cell phone amount. Usually Bozeman gets way more snow then Belgrade. This year so far Belgrade is out doing Bozeman!!
Tonight I may take a picture of our road (that will probably only get plowed once) and what I have to deal with when I leave in the morning. I will also take a picture of our garbage can if it shows how deep the snow is. Josh is on late shift this week and I asked him to put our snow man out... If it is I will take one of that cause it has the measurements on it of how deep snow is and everything...

Snow, snow, snow....

So it started snowing around 12:30-1:00 this afternoon. We now have a winter/snow watch till around noon tomorrow. We are supposed to get around a foot of snow between now and then if not more.

I got home and had some picture opportunities and did it. I also shoveled the sidewalk. As I was shoveling I put it all in the garden and on the side of the walk by the end of the walk way. It was deeper then I thought it was as I was going.

I decided to show everyone exactly how deep it was in one specific spot. I went ahead and opened my cell phone and stuck it in front of the snow. Here is a picture of exactly how deep it is. It is a regular sized cell phone that flips. So if you have one of those just open it up and that is how deep it is so far. Just thought I would update you all, who read this that is, on what is going on today. Sorry for all the blogs today but I felt like writing some things up. I had some time today and felt that I should.
