Backpacking

Josh has gone on a couple backpacking trips this past month or so and here is a pic of him, his dad, and one of our dogs Kunami.

There will be more pics to come as soon as he decides to download them off his camera.

The verdict...

Well....

Last nights game was very close in the beginning. It started being 3-3. the next inning we got up they got us out. They went up scored some and we got them out. They had a couple good innings and then it came to the last inning. We scored the 7 we needed to almost catch up. At this point we were only 1 behind. They were able to be up to bat once more and 2 runs went in.

They won by 3..

We did make a wager on the game. The losers will be cooking a BBQ lunch for the winning team one day for lunch (since we all work for the same company). I will be taking pics of the fun event.

THE GAME!!!

Tonights game is going to be RightNow Technologies, Inc. (my team) vs. The RightNow Spittin' Llamas (obviously the other RightNow team).

It is going to definately be a fun game.

The wager is the loser has to BBQ a lunch for the winning team!

Either way everything is going to be fun and exciting!

The game

Well we lost the game tonight by 4. It was a good game however, and definately fun..

Here is what my leg currently looks like. It is about 85% better then what it looked like 2 years ago 2 days after it happened. I don't have those pictures on my computer, they still need to be scanned.

I LOVE SOFTBALL!!!

I was asked to play with the other RightNow team again tonight. I am really excited. I also really enjoy playing. Monday night at the 1st game I was running from 3rd to home and I slid (in shorts, again) and my leg is calling to me, yelling at me, trying to remind me what happened 2 years ago when I slid in shorts. I will post pictures tomorrow. Its not nearly as bad as that year but its not a regular leg right now. During the 2nd game I had the best hit of my life, though I only made it to 2nd base, Their out field were really fast runners! Anyhow, he saw me almost to 2nd base and he threw the ball AT me... First of all your supposed to throw it to the baseman not the runner... second of all YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO THROW THE BALL AT THE RUNNER!! hee hee. It hit near the bottom of my left leg (the one that now has field (road) rash) and ricocheted to hit my knee on my right leg.

I will post pics of it tomorrow.

Mental note:
Don't slide into any bases and if the ball is being thrown make sure its not at the runner!!

Last night....

Last night started out with only one game being played at 10, so we were going to have a short practice at 8.

Not long before the end of the day I was asked if I could be a sub for the other RightNow teams game at 6:15. Of course I said YES!!!..

So at 6:15 we started the game against the PEPSI team. Both teams played awesome and the game ended up being RightNow 12 Pepsi 13.

Our game then started at 10 and noticed that the PEPSI team was back and heading toward the other dugout on our field. Turns out that we were playing them last night. I had a little bit of an advantage since I had already played them earlier that day. It seemed as though their infield had become very tired because they didnt start out playing as well as they did earlier in the day.

Our game ended up being RightNow 13 Pepsi 13. The game was amazing. Everyone on both teams ended up playing great. Very even matched team. LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!

Happy 4th!

Well to day is the 4th of July..

We are going to spend most of the early night into the night with our neighbors the McClaflins. I will be taking pictures throughout the night and then I should be able to post them early in the morning after we are done watching the fireworks!!

Tonight

Well tonight I am going to attempt to make 2 cheesecakes. One I have already made before and the other one I have never even attempted. This one, the Rhubarb Cheesecake, is a very tasty, moist, yummy sensation! The other one is so far just a dream away.

I actually am going to alter it a little, it being the 4th of July and all, and add some blueberry in with the strawberry to give it the red, white, and blue effect.

I will post pictures when they are fully cooked and looking good enough to eat!!! Should have the pics tomorrow!
