Killer bunnies!!

We just got this game that our friends Heidi and Doug introduced us to. Its called Killer Bunnies. OMG we have so much fun playing it. Its way more fun with a ton of people.
I definately recommend it to everyone! The object of the game is to get the carrot cards, and in the meantime you kill your friends' bunnies and some weapons kill your own. Its not a sadistic game its quite fun and there are no blood and/or guts. It is for as many as 10 players. We are going to take it to each families house and try to get people to play it with us. One of our friends said that now whenever we play it we HAVE to invite her. Quite funny!!The last time we played we had Danielle over. It's basically a big card game... It may look complicated but once you start playing it you get the hang of it.

The house

Well almost 2 years ago we bought a fixer upper house. This last May we re-roofed it and added a little Dormer to give it a different look from the rest of the houses on the block. The first project within 4 hours of signing the papers for the house we tore apart the staircase and built a new one. At the bottom we added a little half circle to keep the flow of the room going.
The project that I did myself was the Spare (main hallway) bathroom. Josh loves the cartoon spongebob, so I dedicated that to him. Here is how it turned out.
Another project we did was tear a wall down so that the living room looks bigger and more open. I dont have any pictures of that but can add them later if I decide to. We are currently working on our Master bedroom suite. We took the two bedrooms at the end of the hall and combined them to make a master bedroom with a pretty big bathroom. I dont have any pictures up loaded to my computer yet but I can add those later too.
It is a long process but we are starting to like it more and more with the progress that we are putting into it.

Breast Cancer

Well it's been a few days since I last posted anything and that is because my grandma just got diagnosed with breast cancer. She goes into surgery tomorrow (Friday, Sept 14) and goes home the same day because she doesn't have very good insurance. If you could all pray for her that would be very helpful!

Other then that nothing much is going on.

Well it's now Monday the 17th of Sept and there is not much to update but there is a little. It was a very small tumor that they got out. They also took some lymph nodes sent off for testing. They won't start Chemo until the results of the nodes get back. She is home and resting, in a little pain and didn't talk about it to much to my dad. I will keep updating it to let everyone know.

Its the 30th of September and my parents called the other day. My grandma's test came back with nothing in the lymph nodes. YAY!!!! The doctors dont know if they are going to do both radiation and Chemo or just Chemo because of her age. Totally understandable. Will have more news later!

Fist one!

So this is my first blog.

Not much to say, we are currently trying to add a bathroom into the house to make a master bedroom suite. It's quite the process and takes a while to get barely enough money saved to do it. Its coming along though.

Josh is on the Late night shift this week and doing work in the bedroom/bathroom during the day. I will be taking pictures of the progress and adding them to my pages.... I will still need to figure that out.

We also just got back from vacation a few weeks ago and I will attempt to add some of those or a link for you to view it.

Well this is all for today. I will get more information on here as the days come and go.
