Halloween at work

So where I used to work no one dressed up for Holloween to work. Here at RightNow Technologies......It's a TOTALLY different story. As in today at lunch we are having a costume party and whomever wins the contest gets tickets to anywhere in the states they want... What an incentive.. So Josh and I are dressing up as wells as most of the people we know inside the company.
For instance, my office mate is a witch with green boas and stuff...
My immediate boss is a pirate...
we have snow white (Beth) and her 7 dwarves......
the girl off the movie Superstar (Linda) .........
Marilyn Monroe (Michael)in accounting , the boss in the movie Office Space (Kyle) and tons more in tech support. I can't wait to see more of them at lunch. I will try to take some pics. I did, however, forget my camera but I do have my phone so the quality wont be great but you will get the jist. There were more that I didn't get pictures of, such as, a whoopie cushion (Kim), Monsters Inc. (Mike and Sully), Dog the Bounty hunter and his wife, A leaf blower (had a leaf taped to his hat and blew)(Max), and so many more!

AND THE WINNER WAS........................................................
Marylin Monroe (Michael)
We have to have some kind of fun while at work. That is for sure!!!

Halloween Party

So we went to a halloween party that a co-worker was throwing and we actually had lots of fun. I was the only sober one so that I could drive people home if needed. Yes we did dress up.. Hee hee
Josh was a Killer B and I was a Voodoo Doll.
This one guy had a cool costume and a great attitude. So I took a quick video of him dancing! Sorry that it is sideways, I cant figure out how to turn it the right way.

If you know how leave me a comment on how you do it!

The Weather...

It snowed on Oct. 5 and melted the same day....since then we have been having temperatures anywhere between 45-73...So I got up this morning and put on some capris and a pair of flip flops for work. It was 7:30 AM and only raining in Belgrade. So I figured that I wouldn't get to cold or anything. I get to Bozeman for work and it's not rain.......it's snow.

HMMMM........Yesterday it was 73 degrees and right now it's like 35 degrees... how the weather will play tricks on us. This picture is of the building that is right next to my office window. Yes my view is of a roof but at least I have natural light that comes in..

Sorry for the quality of this picture I took it on my camera phone so its not the greatest. I just wanted to get something on here of what the lovely weather is doing today!

I am starting to think that I may have to put my flips up for the rest of the season... Which means probably until May. Oh how I will miss the flips! ;)

More house work

So our main project that we are wanting to get done before May is the master bedroom/bathroom suite. We are trying to save money for not only the project BUT Christmas and Thanksgiving. We are traveling for both of them, Helena MT for Thanksgiving and Washington for Christmas.
The tub is long enough for a 6 foot tall person to lay down comfortably, Josh is 6'1" so it made sense. It also has jets. Just give us a call if you wanna try it out!.. hee hee.. Its actually been quite the project. The house (when we moved in) had 3 bedrooms upstairs and now it only has 2. We took the wall from between the two back rooms and combined them to make the master bedroom. We added a walk in closet as well. The bathroom (when finished) will be 8X6. Not to bad if I say so myself.
I will have more pictures later as to what it is looking like now. Basically its a constant mess of construction. I would love it to all be done but we dont see the house being totally done for the next 5-6 years or even more. That is what you get for buying a fixer upper. Hee hee, although, everyday we get closer to getting it done the more we are starting to feel more like a home and not just a crazy house.

What is going on?!?!?!?!?!

I heard on the radio as well as read on MSN News that Schools are starting to offer birth control/patches and condoms to 6th graders. Since it's doctor patient confidentiality the parents don't even know about it unless the kids decided to tell their parents. The permission slips that are out don't explicitly say what is being done. The article also said that a few of the 6th graders that were getting the birth control have already had relations. What is going on with our schools these days? This kind of garbage makes Josh and I want to Homeschool our kids. All it's doing is giving the kids a reason to experiment. They don't need to be given the opportunity to even start doing that at such ayoung age. I know that in 6th grade I definitely wasn't thinking of that kind of stuff.

If this kind of stuff comes to Montana schools then I am definitely going to vote it down and I hope that alot of you are with me on that.

Softball

This was the second year playing co-ed intramural softball for Gallatin County. We have so much fun with it (as you can see from the picture). We didn't win very often but we still had fun playing and that is all that really matters. We had a great overall personality for the team and we all worked together quite well. Most all of us work for the same company and we recruit our friends that would like to play as well. After the games we would either stay at the field and most of them would have a beer or we would go out for a team dinner. In this picture is Heidi, John, Andy, and Josh. We had a team total of about 16 this year and all you really need is a total of 12.

It was hard being the manager this year because trying to get everyone with about the same playing time was kinda hard. I had fun doing it and would do it again in the future but I think that if I manage the team next year I won't be playing with them. I do love the game, but I also love being able to watch it and keep score for it. We will see what next year brings. This pic is of John (not really passed out) posing by the trash can for a funny picture moment. It was definitely funny. We all still try to get together and hang out with each other be it dinner, or a night of killer bunnies, or something. It turns out at the end of the season you have more friends then with what you started the season. I recommend it to anyone.

Josh's New Toy

Yea I know, I know... What was I thinking? I made him take all the safety classes and he's not allowed to ride without the helmet. So at least that much, right? He really enjoys riding it. I guess technically speaking it's not that new.... I just finally was able to get the pics taken and then transferred from my camera. He drives very careful and lets me know when he feels like its time not to ride it for a while… Speaking of not riding it for a while he said this morning that there was frost on the road and decided that it’s about time to put it away for the winter.

Chopping Wood

Yesterday Josh went wood chopping with our neighbor Shane to supply both of our families with wood for the winter. When he came home he looked like this...

Needless to say Shane came home alot cleaner then Josh did. Josh does anything and his faces gets blackend.

We now think that our dog doesn't like black people. I really think that its just because he sounded normal but didn't look anywhere normal.
Next time this happens we will be prepared!
Thank you Sarah for the pics. Yours definately showed the darkness on them better then mine did!!!

The Weatherman

So we were at our neighbors (the McClaflin's) house last night and we were talking about snow. The weatherman said that it was supposed to rain and snow all day today (Saturday). I woke up this morning cause the dogs needed let out and low and behold....it snowed. I though my eyes were playing tricks on me cause I didn't have my contacts in or anything so I went to the front yard to check it out...my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. It really did snow. You can tell in this picture that it is currently snowing because the little white flakes in the green area is the snow falling down. The flakes aren't huge but they are getting there.
IT'S ONLY THE 5TH OF OCTOBER!!!!! I couldn't tell how deep it was, it's really only a skiff, but I made sure to get the vehicles in it so that you can see what we are going to face until next May or June. We have already had to scrape our window everyday for about 1 to 2 weeks except for the last couple of days.

I guess I can't say that the weatherman isn't ever right!

The Other Day = Double

I was making Deviled eggs the other day and I noticed that there was one egg that had a double yolk. I kept about my business and was peeling and slicing more eggs and noticed that I had another set of double yolked eggs. I decided that I would take a picture so that those of you who have never had a double yolk would see what they looked like after being boiled. Josh was making himself dinner the other night and he cracked open an egg and it was a double yolk as well. Never in my life have I had that many double yolked eggs in one crate of eggs.
I was mixing the deviled egg mix and looked behind me. Low and behold I had my own little audience. There were the two dogs looking up at me as if to say "food for me??" hee hee. I can expect that kind of thing from Skeeter (above) but usually Kunami (below) leaves me alone and does her own little thing while I am making stuff.
These two dogs are quite the characters.

Our nutty dogs

So I wanted you all to see how spastic my puppy Skeeter really is. I had a little piece of kibble in my hand and she decided to pretty dance for it. If I would have held it up for her she would have kept dancing.

I didn't want Kunami to feel left out so I went out side to her doing this in the backyard. If she had life her way she would be doing it all day. We now have a path there that won't grow any grass what-so-ever.
