Last weekend

While Conrad and Ali were here last weekend we went ahead and splurged to go see the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3-D. It is the 2nd 3-D movie Josh and I have seen and it was the first for Conrad and Ali.

It was a cute movie. Very much made towards the younger ages but fun for all ages. We laughed and laughed a quite a few spots. With it being 3-D we also definitely jumped at a few spots. Not because it was a scary movie but because it is as if things are jumping towards you and about to land in your lap.

If you have never seen a 3-D movie I definately reccommend it.

Last night

Boy am I tired!!!

We had softball games last night... Let me highlight GAMES!!!

We had our first one at 7:30 PM and very close game (which I think is the funnest!!) and we ended up losing. Then the other RightNow team had their first game of the night at 8:45 PM. They needed an extra girl and asked me to join in on the fun. We won that game 20-8. Then at 10 PM we had our last game of the night. We lost that by 4 (I believe).It was a very close game and very fun. We came home last night after all the games and I passed out. I am still very tired and we still have a possibilty of having another game tonight. If we do it will be our teams 4th game in 3 days. Still love the game and am getting bummed that its the end of the season.

We will be throwing a Team BBQ here in the next few days and get a team pic as well as make up some awards to give to each player. It should be fun.

Madison River pics

We dropped off our car at the pull out and all piled into Conrad and Ali's car and went down the road to the put in spot. We got there around 10 AM. When we got there Conrad and Ali realized that they left the pump, to blow up the tubes, at the house. We just started blowing them up with our hot air. I have a video of it but am not at home right now and was having lots of computer problems last night.

Conrad and Ali have a friend named Dawn that recently moved out of state and really wanted to go on this float trip with us. Ali took it to heart and we took Dawn with us. It was quite fun. Later on in the trip Dawn was a jerk and tried to drown me!!!

Here we are going down the river all tied to each other to try to go at the same speed. By the end of the trip we had broken all ties and went seperately since we were starting to get bombarded by other tubers.

OCD Moments

Some people don't think that I have OCD moments. I have chosen to prove you wrong....
At work my paper clips have a container that they go in. They have to all be facing the same way.

Some people like to mess with me and while I am gone they come in and shake it. When I get back and see that I have to pour them all out and fix them.

Weird I know.

What is with this weather?!?!?!

All of a sudden it sounded like a lot of people were throwing rocks at the window... I looked out side and it was hailing, as you can see in the corners of the buildings in the first pic.

There is a little man made pond inbetween two of our buildings and I noticed it looked a little fuller then usual (this morning it was nearly empty).

It flooded the next parking lot over and is currently making its way to Josh's building.

Very interesting to say the least!!!

We're Approved

Well we just got the news yesterday..

We are now officially a big couple with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation.

We are very excited. We should get our little next week. Not sure if it will be a boy or a girl but we are excited none the less!

Softball

We lost our game last night but not by a horrible amount. It wasn't that close of a game but it was fun none the less.

There are a couple people that just need to realize that we are just playing for fun and not just to win. They are getting a little more worked up then they need to.

All-in-all it was a fun night, cold and late but fun none the less.

Backpacking

Josh has gone on a couple backpacking trips this past month or so and here is a pic of him, his dad, and one of our dogs Kunami.

The verdict...

Well....

Last nights game was very close in the beginning. It started being 3-3. the next inning we got up they got us out. They went up scored some and we got them out. They had a couple good innings and then it came to the last inning. We scored the 7 we needed to almost catch up. At this point we were only 1 behind. They were able to be up to bat once more and 2 runs went in.

They won by 3..

We did make a wager on the game. The losers will be cooking a BBQ lunch for the winning team one day for lunch (since we all work for the same company). I will be taking pics of the fun event.

THE GAME!!!

Tonights game is going to be RightNow Technologies, Inc. (my team) vs. The RightNow Spittin' Llamas (obviously the other RightNow team).

It is going to definately be a fun game.

The wager is the loser has to BBQ a lunch for the winning team!

Either way everything is going to be fun and exciting!

The game

Well we lost the game tonight by 4. It was a good game however, and definately fun..

Here is what my leg currently looks like. It is about 85% better then what it looked like 2 years ago 2 days after it happened. I don't have those pictures on my computer, they still need to be scanned.

I LOVE SOFTBALL!!!

I was asked to play with the other RightNow team again tonight. I am really excited. I also really enjoy playing. Monday night at the 1st game I was running from 3rd to home and I slid (in shorts, again) and my leg is calling to me, yelling at me, trying to remind me what happened 2 years ago when I slid in shorts. I will post pictures tomorrow. Its not nearly as bad as that year but its not a regular leg right now. During the 2nd game I had the best hit of my life, though I only made it to 2nd base, Their out field were really fast runners! Anyhow, he saw me almost to 2nd base and he threw the ball AT me... First of all your supposed to throw it to the baseman not the runner... second of all YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO THROW THE BALL AT THE RUNNER!! hee hee. It hit near the bottom of my left leg (the one that now has field (road) rash) and ricocheted to hit my knee on my right leg.

I will post pics of it tomorrow.

Mental note:
Don't slide into any bases and if the ball is being thrown make sure its not at the runner!!

Last night....

Last night started out with only one game being played at 10, so we were going to have a short practice at 8.

Not long before the end of the day I was asked if I could be a sub for the other RightNow teams game at 6:15. Of course I said YES!!!..

So at 6:15 we started the game against the PEPSI team. Both teams played awesome and the game ended up being RightNow 12 Pepsi 13.

Our game then started at 10 and noticed that the PEPSI team was back and heading toward the other dugout on our field. Turns out that we were playing them last night. I had a little bit of an advantage since I had already played them earlier that day. It seemed as though their infield had become very tired because they didnt start out playing as well as they did earlier in the day.

Our game ended up being RightNow 13 Pepsi 13. The game was amazing. Everyone on both teams ended up playing great. Very even matched team. LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!

Happy 4th!

Well to day is the 4th of July..

We are going to spend most of the early night into the night with our neighbors the McClaflins. I will be taking pictures throughout the night and then I should be able to post them early in the morning after we are done watching the fireworks!!

Tonight

Well tonight I am going to attempt to make 2 cheesecakes. One I have already made before and the other one I have never even attempted. This one, the Rhubarb Cheesecake, is a very tasty, moist, yummy sensation! The other one is so far just a dream away.

I actually am going to alter it a little, it being the 4th of July and all, and add some blueberry in with the strawberry to give it the red, white, and blue effect.

I will post pictures when they are fully cooked and looking good enough to eat!!! Should have the pics tomorrow!
