Game night.....

We had a game night a week or so ago and I am finally getting a chance to catch up on blogging....





Our friends that Barlows showed up and then our friend Danielle also showed up. We always have lots of fun with these people!!!

New adventure...

Well, it looks like the weekend of November 5, 6, and 7 all three of us will be going to Denver Colorado for this wrestling tournament that E will be in.

Josh changed his schedule a little so he will be able to make it as well... So it will be a new adventure for me to be driving in a city I have never been to before and going to a wrestling match that I have never watched before. We didn't have wrestling in my high school.

I am totally looking forward to it.

Well...

Well, it's supposed to snow today and looking outside... I'm not seeing it.

Last night Ethan stayed at his friends house again. He was going to go hunting with Josh and our friend Kenny but decided that he would rather stay home and get homework done to get his grades up. So Friday he spent most of the night working on it and yesterday he spent all day working on it. He got it done and then stayed the night at a friends house last night to proof each others work and then study for math. He took his X-box so I am sure, about 100% sure that they played that last night as well. He is planning on going with Josh in November for the weekend hunting trip with Keith and Kenny. He is looking forward to it, so that is good.

I am not sure what time either of them are getting back so I am just being lazy! ha ha ha

Meet E

We welcomed E to our family last night most likely until the end of highschool. Today was a definite busy day, E and I spent most of it in Bozeman getting him his checking/savings account set up, a phone re-set up, getting boots to go hunting/hiking with and meeting Josh for lunch.

He is currently at a friends house for the night so Josh and I are going to probably do nothing at all! hee hee

It is official!

As of 12 noon today it is official that E will be living with us for the rest of high school starting tomorrow night. All three of us are really excited about this and are looking forward to it!

Fall is apparently here...

This is my 2nd favorite tree in the front yard...

It's not very big but it she gets pretty in the fall!!

So far...

So far things are going pretty good. He is a very well behaved kid. All of us are nervous and as the night goes on we are getting over the nerves (all three of us). Josh started talking about football and that seemed to get over a barrier.

He is in wrestling, track, and does football. He definitely stays busy. Which is exactly what I did in high school. If he stays with us we both intend to try to make most, if not all, of his sports activities.

Josh is showing him his nerdiness right now, and he (E) seems interested. We still don't know if he will be staying with us his last couple years of high school or what will be happening. Though if we are lucky enough to have him, we will be totally fine with that and our house will be open. E is definitely a total teenage boy and likes food, but Josh likes to eat lots of food too. Not actually at one sitting but ALL DAY LONG!!! ha ha ha.

When we know more I will post it on here.

New Kid...

Well, teenager that is. We will be getting 17 year old Tuesday night to see if our personalities mesh well with each other. It isn't a for sure thing but he will be here tomorrow night. It looks like if we don't have him live with us his younger brother also needs a home. So we will either have a 17 year old or a 12 year old.

We are excited for this new stage that is starting. A little nervous but excited.

We will be working in the basement in the spare room to make it a legal room so that we can two kids older then 5 at a time.

We will let you know how things end up in time. For now... we all just have to wait a little bit! :)
