News...

HA HA HA

So after 3 hours of Josh working with S on potty training and having to spot clean the carpet multiple times in that 3 hours, Josh decided that its not time for potty training yet.

Hee hee...

On other news...

Our friends Randi and Devlin are moving to Colorado for Randi to go to vet school. Devlin will be traveling back and forth for work. All the friends got together to throw a going away party. It was a blast!! These two will definately be missed.

R had his last day of summer school yesterday..

We are going to a BBQ tonight at a neighbors house. Jeff is on leave from the Army and is home for two weeks so his wife and kids are throwing a BBQ to welcome him home with friends. It should be fun!

The softball season was a ton of fun. Josh might be subbing for a team this weekend. He is hopes that he can play. If so he will have two games tomorrow. Monday my team will be starting tournaments. I am super excited!!! I think we will do pretty well!!! I will update as we progress with it.

Potty training again :|

So Josh decided that S is ready to be potty trained (try to be potty trained again).

He isn't home with the kid all day so when I am telling him that the child isn't ready he doesn't believe me... So I am trying to potty train him again. It has been a heck of a morning and a horrible one at that. All of his and his brothers underware are now in the washer and dryer (half and half.. and its only 11)....

Right after he gets off the potty and walks into the other room is when he goes. He does go on the potty if he sits there for minutes upon minutes at a time BUT as soon as he goes to the other room he goes again. :|

ARGH!!!!!

Floating the Madison

The other weekend our friends Conrad and Ali came down to float the Madison River. I didn't get any pictures of that as last year I dropped my camera in the river and didn't want to do that again this year.

When we were just hanging out before they left we were playing with bubbles in the front yard and Conrad snapped this picture of S. It is quite a good picture!

New birds

We have a couple new birds that have started to visit our yard more often...


I think this one is my favorite right now. We have had another yellow/pink/orange bird come around but have only seen it once, and I didn't get picture of it.

Doing cookie art

When the girls were here we made cookie art...

You flatten the dough into how ever many people are doing it and then you use cookie cutters (dont puncture all the way through).


You then mix water, egg yolk, and food coloring to color it all in...


It was a lot of fun!!!

It was definately crazy weather that we had! We have the car going in for an estimation on hail damage today. We still have all the windows but do have a few dents and since we are only leasing it we need to get it fixed!
